Can't Find Her

about

Can’t Find Her poses a very intense question; What happens when our carefully crafted lives are abandoned on a whim and what will we be left with?

Always centring around emotionally impactful lyrics, Haley’s songwriting is at the forefront again, sculpting a haunting image of a land with burnt trees and no leaves whilst exposing the flaws of long term relationships that end in infidelity.

Rhythmic guitar, driving drum and base lines and deep rooted cello and violin keep you on edge while Haley's lyrics and powerful harmonies remind you that you can be dishonest with others, but the truth will always lie inside yourself.

lyrics

Can’t Find Her

I see through it all
You are not the one you say you are
Oh the ways you work your heart
Acting on a whim then you kick your lover out

Just watch and see how it
Spreads like wildfire
No leaves burnt trees
Standing where life once was lighter

Soon you’ll be
Lost in the darkness of desire
You’ll turn around and you
Just can’t find her
You just can’t find her

When you’re old and grey if you’re lucky
Looking back on all the things you did you did it with a cold heart
You will finally see all the pain, the blame the self hate
Your regret will consume what’s left of you memory

Just watch and see how it
Spreads like wildfire
No leaves burnt trees
Standing where life once was lighter

Soon you’ll be
Lost in the darkness of desire
You’ll turn around and you
Just can’t find her
You just can’t find her

Our differences so mundane
Take away from all the things we built the dreams we made
Old habits so peculiar
Stole our perception of what we really were

Just watch and see
They’ll be
No need
For each other
Just watch and see how it spreads like wildfire
No leaves burnt trees standing where life once was lighter
Our life once was lighter

Just watch and see how it
Spreads like wildfire
No leaves burnt trees
Standing where life once was lighter

Soon you’ll be
Lost in the darkness of desire
You’ll turn around and you
Just can’t find her, you just can’t find her
